Codename: Kinetrix
Real Name: Iris Rhines
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: Iris is roughly 5'10 tall and of a fairly slender build, not very athletic or anything. Her hair is a dark, of a hard-to-defy colour, that lies in-between brown, red and blonde, and it goes to a little over her shoulders, and one of her eys can be hidden by a bit of hair. One of her eyes is violet (right), the other hazel (left).
Clothing: Iris prefers to wear jeans or sometimes a skirt with a shirt or a top that covers her shoulders.
Powers: Iris has the power to create an unlimited amount of doppelgänger of herself, though the more there are, the harder it is for her to create them, and to keep them up. These duplicates are also different from the original, because Iris' her genes are a tiny bit unstable, especially her X-gene. Therefore her duplicates can have a different hair, eye or skin colour for instance, but they also have a certain kind of kinetic power, such as pyrokinesis (fire), atmokinesis (weather), sonokinesis (sound), or vitakinesis (healing). When the duplicates use their powers too much, they have to return to the original. Iris and her duplicates share the mind, so they all think the same thoughts, and have the same emotions.
Personality: Iris is spontaneous, yet a little shy. She likes to explore things, or create things, but doesn't like failure, and is a little afraid of it.
History: Iris grew up in a fairly large family, with three older brothers, one older sister, a twin brother, and two younger sisters. Her parents and other family members, especially her father and uncle, travelled a lot for business. Her family had been in the music, film, and games industry for two generations already, and as a young girl Iris herself visioned she would grow up to be an actress or a guitarist in a band or something like that.
Later on in life, however, she showed more interest towards designing things, such as buildings, with virtual programs one of her brothers had created. Her mother didn't like this, and her father seemed more indifferent to this. Her twin brother, however, encouraged her like with everything she did, and her uncle also was interested in her skills, saying they might need to get her a job at a movie studios, perhaps.
And after a time, she found herself on the set in her summer holiday, working with a film director who was a friend of the family. However, something went gravely wrong: her latent powers started to come up, and suddenly their where a surprisingly amount of teenaged girls running around, as the computers went crazy, and somewhere else a piece of backgrounds caught fire. Before anyone could come to any conclusion like that Iris could be a mutant and behind this chaos, the duplicates disappeared.
Iris herself was shocked because of the incident, though glad their where no wounded people besides a few minor burns or scratches, or mental wounds. She had only vague memories of it, and shared them with her twin. He told her she might be a mutant. At first she didn't believe him. After all, none else of her family were mutants, save for an older brother and an aunt maybe, and they weren't even that powerfull.
Over time though, Iris became convinced her brother was right, though it took a while and a few little incidents to make her so. She packed her things and not many days before the end of summer holiday, she left for Xavier's School, informing her family of it, saying she wanted to study at some place else, a better place, and her father agreed. Her mother was away for a day or two at the moment.
