Codename: Fantasist
Real Name: Andrew Noble (Most people call him Noble)
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: He’s 6’0, 140lb and has fairly light skin. He’s not skinny, but not large, he’s just in between. He has fairly long, shaggy, jet black hair, dark blue eyes, and he’s slightly toned.
Clothing: Noble usually wears loose blue jeans, white socks, black & white Converse All Stars, and a blue T-shirt with white text on the front that says: “I live in my own little world, but it’s okay…they know me here.”
Powers: Noble has the power to make real the things he thinks up in his head. In other words, Andrew can create any imaginary creature or object he’s ever thought up, simply by imagining that it were really there. One of Noble’s most powerful creatures is Lord Nightmare, the King of Shadow-beasts. Lord Nightmare is a massive, 5-story tall monster, made of solid shadow. He has massive demon wings, large horns on his forehead, beastly claws on his hands & feet, fangs like a wolf, and glowing red eyes. Lord Nightmare is able to change his structure from solid shadow to that of a normal shadow. Lord Nightmare, being the King of Shadow-beasts, has full control over any and all shadow creatures, and can also make & manipulate shadows. He can also use shadow-energy, a dark power that is incredibly strong. Lord Nightmare obeys Noble, and only Noble. When Lord Nightmare is present Andrew’s eyes glow red, just like Lord Nightmare’s.
Andrew’s powers are not limited to just making monsters, he can also make weapons, armor, and other things.
One of Andrew’s favorite weapons is his Magma Blade, a sword with a double-edged blade made of sharpened magma.
Though Noble’s power is great, he has yet to learn how to fully control it. Thus, his power is limited and he can only create so much before reaching his boundaries of power.
Personality: Andrew Noble is a kind, modest boy. He’s a pretty caring guy, and rather sweet. He’s quite funny, and a bit loony. He can be a bit sarcastic at times, but never to hurt anyone’s feelings. However, when he’s in a fight he becomes very cold, and rather angry.
History: Andrew Noble was born in a tiny town in Indiana—Montpelier. His mother, Felecia Noble (maiden name Kane) was born and raised in the same town, as was his father, Alexander Noble. The Nobles were well known in the town of Montpelier, and being just a little over a mile big the Nobles practically owned the town. Nobles were the majority of the population, and owned nearly every store/business in the town. The Noble family was the wealthiest in the town, but never boasted about it.
When Andrew started going to school at the age of 5, most people just called him Noble. There was more than 1 Andrew in the school, but only one Noble.
Andrew was the youngest in his family by several years, therefore was the only one in elementary school. Noble, being a famous name in Montpelier, earned him both respect and foes. Lots of the teachers were very nice to Andrew and watched over him, most likely because of his last name. Several of the kids didn’t like Andrew, thinking he was a rich brat, though he never gave them reason to believe so. Andrew was picked on, and beat up many a time by the older children. Months after being enrolled in school he started thinking up monsters, super heroes, and other things.
In his first class of the day Andrew was bored and started thinking up another character—a large beast with the ability to turn invisible. He imagined this thing appearing in the classroom, right up by the chalkboard. Suddenly, a monster began to form—a green furred beast whose head nearly touched the ceiling. It kept fading in and out, like it was struggling to enter into the real world. After a couple minutes the students stopped paying attention, and watched as the monster started to fully form. The teacher called for the attention of her class, but it was no use. She turned to where the students were staring and saw before her a large, green furred beast. She screamed in terror and the children began to flee.
Andrew just sat there, staring at the monster. “Orrick?” Andrew muttered the name of the green beast, and it turned to him. “You’re…real…” Andrew could hardly believe his eyes. His creation was standing just a few feet in front of him, but how did it get there? Noble was clueless as to how Orrick had come to be. The monster Noble had named Orrick walked over to him, and crouched down. Orrick stared at him as if waiting for something, maybe orders. “Go home, Orrick.” With those words, Orrick vanished.
Noble’s teacher had fainted, and the students were out of the school. So, everyone had missed Noble commanding the monster Orrick.
Years after the appearance of Orrick kids still remembered that day, and told stories about it. Many of the stories weren’t true, and along the lines of ‘…and then I kicked it out the window, and when I went to see where it landed and it was gone.’ However, there were a few people who knew the truth of what happened. But, they didn’t know the full truth.
Andrew Noble, now 7 and in the 3rd grade hadn’t seen Orrick for about 2-years. His life had been continuing as it always did, nothing out of the ordinary happening, until he decided to go on a short walk one night. Since the town was so small, and he had a family member on nearly every street he was allowed to walk alone just before dark. As he walked down an old brick road a few bullies from school spotted him. The 3 boys grabbed him, and shoved him into an alleyway. The boys were much bigger than him, and had in their hands different types of weapons. One had a long chain, another had a nightstick, and the 3rd had a wooden bat. The 3 never had liked Andrew, and maybe envied him because of his good fortune. Noble didn’t know what to do. They began to close in on him, and then he closed his eyes tightly, imagining one of his creations was just behind him. Noble muttered the word “Nightmare” and then a dark, demonic figure appeared behind Noble, sitting on a Kings throne. The being and its throne was completely black, and made of shadow. When the entity opened its eyes, a red light shined down upon the 3 boys. The being’s eyes glowed red, as did Noble’s.
“What is that thing?!” One of the boy exclaimed.
Andrew Noble turned his head, seeing the monster behind him. He turned back to the boys and answered. “Say hello to Lord Nightmare.” His expression was cold, and his tone matched perfectly.
The mighty beast rose from its throne, standing 5-stories tall. All that the 3 boys could do was stare in awe & fear. “No one is safe.” Lord Nightmare said with voice like thunder. He reached down with his right hand, picked the boys up, and started to put them in his mouth. The boys screamed for their lives, filled fear like never before. Noble looked up at Lord Nightmare and ordered him to stop. Lord Nightmare complied, and set the boys down. Noble then went over to the boys, and told them to leave him alone, or else he would summon Lord Nightmare again, and next time he wouldn’t stop him from eating them. Andrew imagined the mighty Lord beast fading away, and thus it was so. Lord Nightmare vanished, and the boys fled.
Ever since the night Lord Nightmare appeared and nearly ate the three boys Noble had no more problems with bullies, cause word had gotten around that Andrew Noble had a friend that was a massive monster—Lord Nightmare.
Andrew started to understand what was going on, and tried his hardest to control it. His efforts were not in vein, but they simply weren’t enough. He had slight control over his power, but not enough over his imagination, which led to problems.
It seemed like every other day Noble was getting into trouble. His imagination would practically act on its own and before Andrew could do anything a beast, or a robot, or something from his mind would be tarring things up. After a while, Andrew came up with a way to help his problem, not fix it but at least help it. He created a character named Herron, a lady-warrior. She was an excellent bowman, and pretty good sword fighter. She wore lightweight, silver armor on the majority of her body. She always carried a broad sword on her left hip, and a bow & arrows on her back. Herron was made to stop whatever character had somehow or another ended up becoming real. Once, while in the mall just a couple cities away from Montpelier, Orrick appeared and started wrecking the place. This was due to Andrew wondering what would happen if Orrick were to appear again. Noble’s powers took affect and Orrick once again became apart of the real world. Just a moment after Orrick appeared Andrew shouted, “Herron!” Out of thin air, Herron came into view. She immediately started to battle the beast, using her swordsman skills. Herron was victorious, and then vanished just like Orrick did when she defeated him.
People came out of hiding, and looked around to make sure Orrick was gone. Only a few had seen Herron battle with Orrick, and they had a pretty good feeling the coast was clear. However, no one knew where either Orrick or Herron had come from. Noble ran from the mall, soon followed by Felicia & Alexander, his mother and father.
Andrew told his parents who Orrick & Herron were, and that he believed he was a mutant. Alexander & Felicia weren’t sure what to think. They’d never heard of a mutant with the power to make his or her imaginative characters become real. Noble decided to prove that it was him who made them by making real another one of his characters—Silva. Silva was a Ninja-Cyborg. He was half human, and half machine. His Gi was a very lightweight, black, robotic armor. Silva himself was quite tan, and appeared to be Native American. His strength was incredible, his speed was uncanny, and his fighting abilities were amazing. Andrew had Silva perform a few attacks, though he didn’t let him actually hit anything.
Alexander & Felicia were amazed and stunned at the same time. Alexander decided to keep it a secret; knowing how hard life could be for a mutant. Alexander was mutant himself, with the power to make paintings, drawings, and etcetera jump off its canvas and come to life.
For many years, ever since the incident at the mall, Alexander worked with Andrew to help him better control his powers. At the age of 12 he had improved greatly, and could summon many of his creations with ease, and had even developed a few new characters along the way. One of his favorites was Chishio, a young vampire who dresses like a Goth, and has medium length, spiked black hair. Like most vampires he has enhanced strength, speed, and senses. Chishio can also fly, and turn himself into a huge bat (the nocturnal flying mammal). He also learned to make objects, such as swords, armor, and etcetera. It was then that Alexander realized he could teach Andrew no more, and he sent him to the Xavier Institute. There, he has stayed, and gave himself the name “Fantasist”.
Andrew has been at the institute for nearly 3-years, and his powers have grown even more.
