Forte laughed lightly, realizing that he had not fully explained the nature of his power. "No, no, no. My coma-mist must be inhaled. If it makes contact with your flesh, you have nothing to worry about. If you breath it in, then you have a problem." He explained with a faint grin. "Now, take my hand."

Ty slowly extended his hand towards Forte, still not really trusting him, and he hoped the other had not another power, such as teleporting, and that he would take him to some unknown place. He grabbed Forte's hand and looked him in the eyes. "Now what?"

Forte said nothing for a moment, waiting, hoping that the man would've taken in some type of information. Perhaps the man needed more information on the power. Forte stopped using his power, and withdrew his hand from Ty's. "There is not much for you to do in this stage of the process, just listen." Forte said, hoping to have Ty's full attention. "To use any power one must understand it, for this stage I will call upon someone who is a little better at explaining these things than I am." Forest, you're in. Forte said in his mind. His voice changed to a medium tone, not filled with anger, but rather normal. His eyes were no longer filled with evil, and they too became quite normal. "The coma-mist is an interesting thing, in the way that it acts much like a gas but is not lethal. It must be inhaled to have an affect, and the amount of mist has little to do with how powerful it is. A tiny bit of coma-mist can be powerful enough to put a grown man out cold for twelve hours." Forest stated commonly. "The coma-mist does not have to come from my hands." Forest then had some emanate from his neck. "Also, it has no affect on its user." He added. "The coma-mist can also be manipulate." He put out his left hand, and had the mist come to it. The mist swirled around in his hand, and was then absorbed back into his flesh. "I can also absorb it back into my body. The mist can come from any area of my body that is covered by skin." He paused a moment, and lowered his left arm. "Do you follow so far?" Forest asked Ty.

Ty listened intently to the guy's explanation. He didn't have much understanding to the why of the case, the 'why' as in why does he tell me this? When Forest asked him if he understood what he had told, he answered simply: "I do so." Though he still wondered about what was hidden from his sight.

"Good." Forest said commonly, not really showing that he was pleased, he was just kinda there. "Now then, the coma-mist can act up on its own at times, that is, if one doesn't have full control over it. You see, some mutants have the ability to shoot powerful beams of energy from their eyes, the energy being in their eyes, of course. Well, the coma-mist is much like that, though it's not in my eyes, it is in my skin and emanates from there, like I have said before. Like many powers, the coma-mist is infinite, and produces more the second I begin to use it." He stated plainly. "So, like the eye beams, all one has to do is concentrate on releasing it from ones body. Once one has figured out how to do that, he or she can work on learning to manipulate it. This is rather simple, all I have to do is think of the motion--just as if I were moving a part of my body." Forest paused again, and then asked, "Understand?"

"Yes I do." Ty said firmly. He still couldn't figure out the Why, but he knew it was good to ask questions later, after he had gotten all the information.

"Good. Now, watch." Forest said, and then put out his left hand, palm up. He slowly started to release the coma-mist from his hand, the mist rising up, but going to further than 7-inches above his palm. "Do you see what it is I'm doing?"

Ty shrugged as he watched For-est's actions. "Yes, you are emanating the mist and manipulating it to make it go and stay in the air the way you want it." He pointed out. He put his hands deep inside his pockets, so they wouldn't get too cold.

"Good." Forest said with a faint smile. "Now," he closed his hand, and let his arm drop, "you try." He said to Ty.

Ty looked at Forest beweirded. He laughed nervously. "Yeah, right. Is this some kind of joke?" He said. "Because I am not getting it."

"This is not a joke, Mr. Riderson--I am quite serious." Forest replied. "Now, just give it a try." He said, then waiting for Ty to attempt using the coma-mist.

Jeez, take it easy, Agent Smith wannabe. Ty thought. He raised his hand in the air and concentrated on it, thinking of the coma-mist, hoping for something to happen, though he had no idea what.

Forest simply folded his arms, and waited. He watched Ty's hand, waiting to see if he would be able to do it. Are you sure this kid is a copycat? Forest asked inside his mind. I am sure of it... Just trust me. Forte answered. *Sigh* Fine. So, Forest continued to watch and wait.

Ty started to get frustrated. What was supposed to happen anyway? He wanted to give up, yet he was curious. After several moments of concentration and odd silence, he saw a strangely coloured mist appearing, floating less than an inch above his hand. "What the..."

Forest's eyes widened in surprise. Sure, Forte told him that he believed the man was a copycat, but Forest didn't actually think he'd be right. "No way..." He whispered. What did I tell ya, Forest? Copycat. Forte said inside Forest's mind. Suddenly, while Forest wasn't paying attention, Forte took back over. A sly grin came upon his face as thoughts flooded through his mind. "Fantastic." Forte said to Ty. "Very well done."
