Ty stood before a grave. It was so old it was a bit away from the others, as if it were forgotten, and the letters were far from being readable anymore. A cold wind was blowing through Ty's hair. He sighed and rubbed his hands together. Even though he was wearing a jacket, he felt a little cold. "What am I supposed to do?" He spoke softly, as if talking to the grave. "I know I am a mutant, but I don't know what kind of mutant." He sighed. "I don't even know how old I am. I could be an adult already, or I could be halfway through puberty." He was silent for a few moment. "Oh, I don't know!" Frustrated, he sank onto his knees and held his head. "I don't know."

Forte didn't mind the cold, and was wearing his usual all black outfit--long jeans, a T-Shirt, Reebok's, and some medium high socks to match, along with a pair of sunglasses. He had been watching Ty for a while, listening to his every word. He was leaning his back on an old, dead tree, his left leg bent with his foot upon it as well. "If your life is so bad I could end it for you." Coma said with little to no emotion.

He thingyed his head up at the sound of a voice, and looked around to see who had spoken. When he saw Forte, he sighed. "My life aint that bad." He replied, with a sad smile. "I just wish I knew who, or what I was."

Forte smirked after hearing what Ty had to say. "Aww. Poor little boy, can't figure out who he is." He said with apathy, and then rolled his eyes. "Hmph." Forte was not one to care about other people's feelings. "Y'Know Ty, you rather interest me. You're kind of a mystery, which leads me to think that if you had the proper motivation you could become a great killer."

Ty looked at the stranger, listening intently. His eyes narrowed a little. "How do you know my name?" He asked. "And while you are at it, who are you?"

Forte pushed himself off the tree and walked over to Ty. "I've been watching you, Mr. Riderson. Not for long, but long enough to learn a bit about you." Coma replied. "To answer your other question, my name is Forte, but most people call me Coma."

Ty tried to smile a little. "Let me guess... they call you Coma because you're a mutant with the power to make people freak out so much they get into one?"

Forte shook his head a little, letting Ty know he was wrong. "Actually, my body can emanate a non-lethal mist that has a range of power from making you sleepy to putting you into a coma for about three years." He was silent a moment, and then turned to the tombstone, wondering whose it was.

"Hm." Ty was a little shocked at the fact of what this 'Coma' guy's power was, but it didn't show in his expression. "And what part do I get to play in your little game?" He asked. "Do you want me to work for you? Do you want to help me with something I have yet to get to know of?"

Coma looked at Ty, and then pushed himself off the tree. He walked over to him, a devilish grin on his face. He stopped, standing about 4-feet away from Ty. "I'm going to help you discover your powers."

Ty looked Forte into the eyes, searching for something, yet he did not know clearly what. "And clearly you already have an idea of what my powers are, and how they will be discovered." He asked in a half-questioning tone.

"Aye." Forte replied, his grin becoming larger. "Now, watch closely Ty." Coma put out his right hand and started to make the mist. It was very light, and sustained just above the palm of his hand. "Do you see what I'm doing?" Coma asked to make sure Ty was paying attention.

"Yes." Ty answered, not sure what to do else.

Ty looked at Forte beweirded. Was he nuts? "Why should I," he asked, "if that gas will put me out for God-knows-how-long?"
