Ty sat down on a chair with a book he had just picked from the shelves. He had been looked for about half an hour until his eye had fallen onto the book’s cover, and, attracted by the weird title, taken it. After so many rows of books full of detective-, horror- and romance-stories, this one seemed quite an odd one out. “Nice concept.” He said, talking to no-one actually, after he had read a few pages, and finished the prologue. “A nice story, very original, and it makes use of clichés in a way that is funny, yet not distracting from what is going on.” He smiled. “Really good. I’ll take it…” However, instead of standing up, he read on, starting at chapter one.

After Ty had finished the first chapter also, he stood up, and checked his pockets for money. He looked on the book's price tag, and his jaw dropped. It was really expensive. He certainly didn't have that much money on him. He sighed. "Well, that's too bad." He said to himself. He took the book, and walked back to the English literature section, where he had got the book off one of the shelves. He saw a woman there, and smiled sadly. "If you have enough money, you could try this book." He said to her, as he held the book up.

The owner of the book store was up on a latter not for from the two. It was actually Vanessa in the shop owner's appearance. The shop owner, had been shot and killed in what the former mutant assassin known as Copycat, had witnessed as a car jacking gone wrong. The man had been killed nothing Vanessa did could of helped him. So Vanessa took the man's belongings and hid the body. It would be found in time she knew, but until then she would run his life.
"If you wanted the book son I'm sure we can work something out. I could put a hold on it or set you up with a charge account."

"Eh, well I don't see any wrongs in that." Ty said. "Thanks." He smiled at the man. Ty looked around a little, thinking if there could be any other books he would like to buy. "Say, sir? Do you have a copy of 'The Age of Phlame'? I have heard of it and read it's prequel, but I haven't been able to find it here yet."

[]Ty if you had other plans for this post let me know and I'll change this if it's messing you up[]
"Well son if you can't find I must be out of it, but I should be getting another shipment of it next week." The store owner climbed down from the latter and moved back to the counter. Looking over an order form before looking back over at Ty. "Yes I'll have another box of that book next week." As he was putting up the order form a boy dressed in obvious gang colors came in seeing the shop owner. "Dude your dead your supposed to be dead!" The gang member looked to freaked out for it to be a joke and ran out.
The owner looked stunned and looked about before hurrying to the storeroom.

(( No, don't worry. I can work with it. )) Ty shook his head. "People are getting nuttier by the day. Thinking people are dead who're alive." He smiled at the shopowner. "But it'll be in next week, you say? Can I pre-order it, perhaps?"

The shop owner's hand was on his head as if he had a headache. An turned back around to look at Ty as he asked his question. "Uh yeah you... you can jus' give... uh give me a minute." As the door was shutting the shop owner's voice went from male to female.

Ty frowned as he heard a bit of a difference in the shop owner's voice, but he didn't ask any questions. Like he could have, with the store room's door shutting behind the man.

In the storeroom the shop owner had returned to her true form of Vanessa Carlysle. The long thought dead mutant assassin known as Copycat. She was dazed her thoughts still on the store owner's memories and played out the man's death in her mind. Now coming to herself and remembering that she was also thought dead. She took on the form of Theresa Rourke Cassidy a former member of X-Force better known as Siryn, but a much younger form of her as Copycat, had last known her. Coming out of the storeroom she moved to Ty.
Speaking in a deep Irish accent unknown that he or Betsy might know Siryn. "Um he had to um go get one of his workers to help you." She looked about already losing the store owners memories and slipped out of the store.

Ty watched the girl go, and raised both his brows. "Okay, that was weird." He said.
